Receipts :
Over the years, the station
has been consistently improving its receipts through proper
management of scarce resources. The decline in receipts during
the current year was off-set by improvement in collection during
the first month of the current financial year. The month saw a
surge in receipt to the tune of Rs. 7.71 lakhs, which augers
well for the rest of the year.

Integrated Village Development programme:
The vision of our
Vice–Chancellor to take the lab to the field through the IVDP is
fulfilled by adopting Gullapuram and Kovilpatti. Last year the
scientists of this farm visited the village and arranged for
Coconut Eryiophid mite eradication programme and also supplied
quality seeds to needy farmers.
Epilogue :
Agricultural Research Station, Vaigai Dam has been in forefront of
production and distribution of quality seeds to farmers and
state department of Agriculture. It will endeavor to strive so
in future and meet the obligations of seed producers and
farmers.
