• Mode of selection through Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination for regular candidates from Tamil Nadu
• Industry sponsored candidate through registered members of agri-horti business consortium.
• NRI candidates for direct admission
• Overseas candidate can directly apply through their respective embassies.
• Admission - June every year.
• Classes by Third week of July.
Horticultural Industry Sponsorship
Five seats in B.Tech. (Horticulture) are allotted for Horticultural Industry sponsorship as per the norms fixed by the University. Those candidates admitted under this sponsorship need to pay additional special fees as stipulated in the admission brochure. A certificate to this effect should be furnished along with the application. The sponsoring industries may contact the The Dean(Hort), Horticultural College and Research Institute, TNAU, Coimbatore for further information. Candidates from all over India are eligible to apply.
NRI Quota:
Five seats are allotted under NRI quota for B.Tech.(Hort.). The minimum qualification for admission under this quota is fixed as follows :
1. Upper age limit : 25 years
2. Minimum marks : A Pass in the Qualifying Examination
3. Fees payable : USD 2100/ Semester
