As one of the significant milestones in this department, a dual degree programme on Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Plant Breeding at Cornell University and Master of Technology (M. Tech) in Biotech & Business Management at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University was started during the year 2008-09. At present 6 students enrolled in this programme and they are studying MPS Plant Breeding course at Cornell University.
