          The Post Harvest Technology Centre is closely associated with a number of outreach activities to disseminate the laboratory level outcomes to end users.

Following are the core activities of outreach mechanisms.

ü      Field level demonstration of collapsible crates supplied by McGill University , Canada to reduce the post harvest losses of fruits and vegetables and conducting follow up studies.

ü      Conducting impact assessment studies to evaluate the efficacy of the trainings in terms of entrepreneurship development

ü      Establishment of agro processing complexes and assessing their techno economic viability.
