Function

:

The device fitted in air lift pump reduces the salt build up in the pipes.

Principle

:

The device consists of a tank with lime and water in the ratio 1:3. When compressed air is passed through the lime solution it disperses the CO₂ in air, preventing salt formation.

General information

:

The lime requirement per month (10 hours per day of pump working) of CO₂ from air at volume rate of 1 lit/sec for dispersion is 3.56 kg. The air contact area with lime solution can be increased by multiple perforations.
